Welcome to our FAQ guide. At Sacred Drum Healing, we specialize in deep energetic clearing for homes, cottages, and workspaces throughout Canada. Our work is a profound energetic reset that goes far beyond surface-level smudging. Using sacred drumming, angelic chimes, and Reiki, we help release stagnant or heavy energy and restore tranquility to your physical environment. 1) What is drum energy clearing?
For centuries, sound has been used in sacred spaces to shift energy — not just to be heard, but to be felt.
Low, resonant tones move through air, walls, and the body itself. Because we are mostly water, vibration doesn’t pass by us — it moves through us.
In my sessions, the drum is used to ground and clear dense or stagnant energy. Its steady rhythm helps settle the nervous system and move what’s been stuck in a space or within you.
Angelic chimes are then used to lift the energy and invite in peace, clarity, and light. This work isn’t about belief — it’s about vibration, and how sound can change how a place (and a person) feels.
2) What is dark energy?
Dark energy isn’t always something mystical. It’s the emotional and energetic “residue” that builds up from stress, fear, conflict, or heavy experiences.
People, places, and even furniture can hold this energy over time. Your body senses it — that heavy or uncomfortable feeling in a room. The good news? Energy isn’t fixed. With awareness and clearing, it can shift.
3) How does it work?
It’s a simple 3-step process:
I move through your space room by room. First, I use the grounding rhythm of the buffalo drum to release stagnant energy.
I then repeat the process with angelic chimes and Reiki to lift, reset, and seal the space with a calm, protected flow of energy.
4) What does a session feel like?
The process is calm and grounding. Many people notice a sense of relief or a lightness in the air.
Nothing dramatic or intense happens — it’s a respectful, gentle shift that homeowners and clients can truly feel in their space.
5) How long does a session take?
Sessions typically take 1–2 hours, depending on the size of your space.
I move through each room with care and intuitive attention to ensure a complete energetic reset.
6) Do I need to prepare anything?
No special preparation is needed. You don’t need to move furniture or deep clean.
I simply ask for a quiet environment so I can stay focused on the subtle energetic shifts during the work.
7) Why is it priced the way it is?
When you look at everything that’s included, this service is very reasonably priced.
I travel to your home or workplace (including drive time), then spend 1–2 hours doing focused, room-by-room clearing using three modalities: - Deep drum clearing - Angelic chimes - Reiki
Many similar services start around $400 for a simple one-pass smudging. This is a much deeper, more intentional clearing.
8) Do you ever encounter evil spirits?
No. I don’t work with “evil spirits.” What I sometimes encounter are souls who haven’t fully crossed over after passing. They may be holding trauma, grief, sadness, or anger. My role is to help them move on peacefully, so the space — and the people in it — can feel lighter again.
8) Do you teach this/offer classes?
No I don’t teach my personal clearing process. What I do is intuitive and layered — it’s not just drumming. I read the energy in the room and respond in real time, adjusting rhythm, intensity, and pacing as the space shifts. That’s something developed through experience rather than a step-by-step method.
That said, I absolutely encourage everyone to uplift the energy of their own space. Drumming, singing, bells, chimes, clapping, intentional sound — all of these can positively shift a room. Sound is powerful and accessible to everyone.
My sessions are about offering a deeper, guided energetic reset when you want focused support.
8) Are you Indigenous?
No I’m not Indigenous. My work isn’t based in Indigenous ceremony. It’s intuitive energy work supported by rhythm, sound, and intention. Drumming exists across cultures — African, Celtic, Nordic, Middle Eastern, Asian — and beyond. It’s not owned by one lineage The ceremonial style and how it's used are.
